Short answer
StaffConnect supplies event and hospitality staff in Berlin and Brandenburg: hosts, bar and service staff, bartenders, promoters, trade fair crews and set crews for film shoots. Staff cost from 26 €/h net as a new client, regularly 28 €/h net, with a minimum of 5 hours per person and shift; every surcharge is listed on its own line before you book. We are licensed for temporary agency work, so you may direct our staff yourself, and we are the employer — wages, social security and insurance are ours. A replacement if someone drops out is included. Companies based abroad get quotes and invoices in English and pay no German VAT.

Rates & terms
All prices per person and hour, minimum booking 5 hours. What moves the price is not the work on site — it is how much say you want in who is assigned.
New client rate 26 €/h 30.94 €/h instead of 28 €/h 33.32 €/h on the base rate
The new client rate applies to the first 50 person-hours of your first working day, provided the quote comes from the price calculator, you confirm it within three days and you are booking with us for the first time. After that, the regular rate applies.

How it works
No contract lock-in, bookable from 5 hours.
Location, date, working hours, number of people, the task and the dress code. With those six we can start staffing; contact person, access and billing details can follow.
The calculator does the arithmetic with your actual times and gives you a quote as a PDF — every surcharge on its own line, no sign-up, no phone call.
A person reads your enquiry and comes back with questions or a confirmation — not an auto-responder. That takes under 24 minutes.
Once the details are settled you get a binding confirmation and the shift goes into our scheduling. Usually within two hours of the enquiry.
Photo, name and short profile of each person assigned appear in the client portal. Briefing documents go to the team, not just to you.
The team arrives briefed and on time. Your contact stays reachable throughout — one number, one person, not a rota of call handlers.
Hours are recorded on a digital timesheet you countersign. The invoice follows from that record, with every surcharge itemised.

From 26 €/h net per person as a new client, regularly 28 €/h net, with a minimum of 5 hours per person and shift. Bartenders and baristas cost +6 €/h. Night hours between 10 pm and 6 am add 4 €/h, Sundays 2 €/h, public holidays 5 €/h; short notice adds 2 to 15 €/h. Private clients pay the same rates plus 19 % VAT.
A staffing agency. We do not plan events, book venues or rent out equipment — we supply the people. We are licensed for temporary agency work under the German AÜG, so you may direct our staff on site yourself; a service contract, where our own team lead runs the job, is also possible.
All of our staff speak German, most of them also English — at no extra charge. Say in your enquiry which language your guests will use and we staff for it.
Yes. Quotes and invoices can be in English. Clients based outside Germany pay the quoted amount in advance, before the first shift. As a business you pay no German VAT: EU companies with a valid VAT ID under the reverse-charge rule, companies outside the EU because the service is not taxable in Germany.
The calculator gives you a priced quote in about 60 seconds, a person replies in under 24 minutes, and the binding confirmation usually follows within two hours. Of the bookings where we recorded the booking date, 32 % were made seven days or less before the event. We do not promise same-day staffing.
A replacement steps in at no extra charge — that is part of the hourly rate. You see photo, name and a short profile of everyone assigned in the client portal before the event.
