Staff for a Christmas party in Berlin cost from 26 €/h net per person as a new client, regularly 28 €/h net, with a minimum of 5 hours. More important than the rate is the lead time: hundreds of Berlin companies celebrate on the same December weekends, so we recommend booking by the end of October. We staff reception, cloakroom — the underestimated bottleneck in winter — bar, service and tear-down. Hours between 10 pm and 6 am add 4 €/h, and there are always some. Short-notice requests are possible against a graded surcharge.

In December every guest hands in a coat and a scarf. We plan the cloakroom so that nobody waits twenty minutes at midnight.

Between the last weekend in November and Christmas Eve, hundreds of Berlin companies celebrate at the same time — and all of them want Friday or Saturday. Whoever books in September or October gets the team they want; whoever asks in December gets what is left. Three things are underestimated every year: the cloakroom, where every guest hands in a coat and scarf in winter; the hours after 10 pm, which every Christmas party has; and the tear-down after the last guest.

Frequently asked questions about Christmas party staff

Ideally by the end of October, at least four to eight weeks before — the Advent weekends are booked up first every year. Shorter notice often still works, then with a surcharge: with fewer than eight working days between your binding booking and the shift, a short-notice surcharge applies: +2 €/h at six or seven working days, rising to +15 €/h at one day or less. A booking made after 4 pm counts from the next working day.
28 €/h net per person, 26 €/h for new clients who create the quote in the price calculator, confirm within three days and book with us for the first time. Minimum 5 hours per person. On top: +4 €/h for hours between 10 pm and 6 am, +6 €/h per bartender if cocktails are mixed, +2 €/h on Sundays, +5 €/h on public holidays.
Because in winter practically every guest hands in something — coat, scarf, hat, often a bag — while in summer only half go to the cloakroom at all. Shortly after midnight two hundred people want their coat at the same time, and ten minutes of waiting is the last thing they remember of your party.
Yes. All of our staff speak German, most of them also English — at no extra charge. Say in your enquiry which language your guests will use and we staff for it. Briefings, quotes and invoices can be in English.
Both are possible. For classic service jobs, where your own event lead gives instructions on the night, agency work under the AÜG is the usual choice. If you want us to run the job, including a team lead of our own, a service contract fits. We advise case by case.
No minimum team size — one person is fine. The minimum is 5 hours per person and shift. We suggest team sizes from your guest numbers and the shape of the evening.
No travel fee inside Berlin as long as an S-Bahn, U-Bahn or tram stop is within a ten-minute walk at both the start and the end of the shift — bus stops do not count. Otherwise 25 € per person and shift; outside Berlin 25 € plus the travel time from the city limit as working time. At a Christmas party the end of the shift is often late at night — check whether trains still run.
