Hire a bartender in Berlin for your party

38.08 € per hour incl. VAT as a new client who books through the price calculator (32 € net), regularly 40.46 € incl. VAT, with a five-hour minimum. Five hours from 5 to 10 pm on a Saturday come to 190.40 € incl. VAT. Six hours from 7 pm to 1 am, three of them after 10 pm, come to 6 × 38.08 € plus 3 × 4.76 € = 242.76 € incl. VAT. The new client rate covers the first 50 person-hours of your first day if you confirm the calculator quote within three days.

Yes. Barkeeper is simply the German word for bartender — which is probably why you searched for “rent a barkeeper”. Someone who mixes cocktails is a bartender for us; someone who pours beer, wine, fizz and simple long drinks is bar staff and costs 7.14 € less per hour incl. VAT.

Drinks, glasses, ice, refrigeration and a surface to work on — a sturdy table will do. We provide the person and, on request, the tool kit. If something is missing, say so in your enquiry and we will tell you what we can organise.

On request, for 89.25 € incl. VAT (75 € net) per day and bartender: two Boston shaker tins, a Japanese jigger, muddler, Hawthorne, julep and fine strainers, bar spoon, peeler, citrus press, ice tongs, bottle opener, corkscrew, tweezers, two pourers, cocktail picks and drink menus. The calculator cannot add the kit yet — mention it in your enquiry and it goes into the quote as its own line.

Not inside Berlin, as long as an S-Bahn, U-Bahn or tram stop is within a ten-minute walk of your address when the shift starts and when it ends. If no train runs any more at the end, or the nearest stop is a bus stop, it is 29.75 € incl. VAT per person and shift. Outside Berlin the same 29.75 € apply, plus the travel time from the city limit as working time.

Often, yes. With fewer than eight working days between your binding booking and the party a short-notice surcharge applies — from 2.38 € incl. VAT per hour at six or seven working days up to 17.85 € at one day or less. A booking after 4 pm counts from the next working day.

Guest numbers alone don’t answer that. The drinks list, the number of bar stations and the length of the night do — cocktails at one bar need more hands than beer and wine at two. Send us the list and your timings and we will tell you what we would book. Often a second bar station shortens the queue more than a second person at the first one.

Tips are never built into our prices and nobody expects them. If you want to give the bartender something at the end of the night, it goes straight to that person; we do not touch it.

All of our staff speak German, most of them also English — at no extra charge. Say in your enquiry which language your guests will use and we staff for it.
