Short answer
Trade fair staff in Berlin costs from 26 €/h net as a new client, regularly 28 €/h net, with a minimum booking of 5 hours per person and shift — a minimum that rarely binds on a fair day. Trade fair work carries no premium of its own. A team lead who coordinates a larger stand crew is +6 €/h, charged on one person in the team rather than on each. Messe Berlin and CityCube have S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations a few minutes’ walk away, so there is no travel fee as long as trains still run when the shift ends. Exhibitors based abroad pay in advance and, as businesses, are invoiced without German VAT.

The new client rate applies to the first 50 person-hours of your first working day, provided the quote comes from the price calculator, you confirm it within three days and you are booking with us for the first time. After that, the regular rate applies.

How it works
From enquiry to shift in four steps — no contract lock-in, bookable from 5 hours.
Location, date, working hours, number of people, the task and the dress code. With those six we can start staffing; contact person, access and billing details can follow.
The calculator does the arithmetic with your actual times and gives you a quote as a PDF — every surcharge on its own line, no sign-up, no phone call.
A person reads your enquiry and comes back with questions or a confirmation — not an auto-responder. That takes under 24 minutes.
Once the details are settled you get a binding confirmation and the shift goes into our scheduling. Usually within two hours of the enquiry.
Photo, name and short profile of each person assigned appear in the client portal. Briefing documents go to the team, not just to you.
The team arrives briefed and on time. Your contact stays reachable throughout — one number, one person, not a rota of call handlers.
Hours are recorded on a digital timesheet you countersign. The invoice follows from that record, with every surcharge itemised.

You book the people, we handle German employment law. We are licensed for temporary agency work under the AÜG, which means you may direct the team on your stand yourself — no contract of employment on your side, no payroll, no registration with German authorities. Quotes and invoices can be in English. Two things to know before you plan: clients based outside Germany pay the quoted amount in advance, before the first fair day. And as a business you pay no German VAT — EU companies with a valid VAT ID under the reverse-charge rule, companies outside the EU because the service is not taxable in Germany. The stand being in Berlin does not change that.

Clients based outside Germany pay the quoted amount in advance, before the first shift.
Not as a business based outside Germany. Supplying staff to a business is taxed where the client is established, not where the stand is. EU companies with a valid VAT ID get an invoice without German VAT under the reverse-charge rule — we check the number with the German Federal Central Tax Office first. Companies outside the EU, for example in the UK, Switzerland or the US, are invoiced without German VAT because the service is not taxable in Germany. A German branch counts as German.
Green Week runs from 15 to 24 January 2027, Fruit Logistica from 3 to 5 February, ITB Berlin from 16 to 18 March and IFA from 3 to 7 September 2027 — all at Messe Berlin. InnoTrans, the rail technology fair, takes place every two years; the next edition runs from 19 to 22 September 2028. Those weeks are the busiest in the calendar for stand crews, so book earlier than for a normal event.
All of our staff speak German, most of them also English — at no extra charge. Say in your enquiry which language your guests will use and we staff for it. Written briefings, quotes and invoices can be in English.

One person looking after one group or one guest across the whole programme — reception, moving between sessions, green room, timings, and being reachable throughout. A different job from stand staffing, usually booked for conferences, galas and festivals.
Earlier than for a normal event. Fair weeks are the busiest in the Berlin calendar and the good people are gone first. Short notice is still possible — with fewer than eight working days between your binding booking and the shift, a short-notice surcharge applies: +2 €/h at six or seven working days, rising to +15 €/h at one day or less. A booking made after 4 pm counts from the next working day. But the choice narrows sharply.
Yes, and it is worth it. A crew that already knows the stand on day two sells better than a new one. Where the run is known early enough we hold the same people for all days.
